The garage level slab is now complete. This will allow crews to continue forming the ground level deck towards the NW corner of the building. As well, the second floor podium is now being formed and supported by scaffolding beneath. Expect to see concrete columns and the formation of the second floor deck continue for the next couple of weeks.

Lagging and support tie-backs continue on B Block as excavation continues down to sub-grade. Expect to see excavation ongoing through-out May with concrete scheduled to start early June.

Excavation to sub-grade continues on block A. Wooden lagging has now been installed down to the first tier of support tie-backs, which are currently being drilled. Expect to see earthwork continue through May and concrete to start early June.

Site Utilities -

Night shift utility crews will be working from 7:00 pm to 5:00 am on Monday 4/14/2012. They will be working on abandonment lines between 7th and 8th street on the North side of Monroe St. (West bound lane). Expect one lane of traffic to be shut down on Monday night. Also, please be aware two speed-bumps have been installed on 7th street at the intersections of Monroe and Lawrence. These allow for water to service both A and B Block from neighboring fire hydrants. Please use caution when driving over these temporary speed-bumps.
